Yesterday we had the honor of having Lucas Frank, a 15 year old from Broadway, Va, hunt with us. Lucas was diagnosed with T Cell leukemia in December 2022. He is currently receiving maintenance chemotherapy and his leukemia is in remission. Lucas is a patient of Christina Crockett at UVA Children’s Hospital. Christina is the wife of SMHC member “Buckhunter” and they lined everything up for him to hunt with the club. Lucas and his brother are great young adults and we thoroughly enjoyed having them with us this weekend. The best part was that they both were able to shoot and bring home some deer meat!
