RainCrowFarm Hereford Hogs We partner with J & W Showpigs. We strive to produce the "desired type "of Hereford Showpigs in Central Indiana. This is our quest.

We believe in breeding "the best to the best to make better"-Hereford Showpigs. We farrow normally a dozen sows/gilts, but have had as many as seventeen to deal with. We try to have a couple December litters, and a couple March litters, with the bulk of the pigs born in the January-February time slot. We built our base with daughters of our current herd boar, TCF Brocky 2-1, who was the 2006 India

na State Fair Grand Champion Hereford Boar. Prairie State and Shaffer's Goldrush each have a Hereford boar on stud that is a grandson of Brocky. We recently bought PSSS Lucky 6-4 from Prairie State, and hope to compliment our current breeding program with this boar.

Thought about changing the farm name to : RainCrowFarm "Not Just" Hereford Hogs..... We have put together a bunch of gilts this summer, including 2 Spots, 2 Polands, 2 Chesters, a Berk, and 8 Herefords. Only a week away from the beginning of breeding season for us.

Thanks to all our buyers in 2014. We dont have any boars, barrows, gilts, or bred gilts for sale right now, but we plan to have pigs available beginning late March or early April 2015. Contact us then.
