Our 3 most recently trapped and rescued kittens (2 females, 1 male) were vetted today. All 3 have been spayed/neutered, rabies and distemper vaccinated, FIV/Felv (-), treated for fleas and ticks and have had their ears cleaned and treated. They all range from 4.5-5.5 lbs, are estimated to be between 4-5 months, and are definitely not feral! They will be available for adoption very soon so be on the lookout for pics and updates!! 😻😻😻

Despite the cooler temps and winds today, we were still able to trap to more kitties! They will see the vet within the next few days to be spayed/neutered, vaccinated etc. Here are 2 more that will not be doing any unnecessary breeding!! ✂️❤️✂️

Please do not feed out of cans!! Mouth injuries from sharp edges can be costly if not deadly 😿

It seems like this one would be common sense, but based on how much I've seen this mistake, I guess not!

Whether the can is ripped open as pictured or the top of the can is fully removed, SHARP EDGES are left behind that are dangerous for the cat or kitten. If you are feeding community cats who have already been spayed or neutered, this rule definitely still applies!

I line my trap with newspaper and place the bait directly on it. No bowl or plate needed. Paper plates, bowls or trays are also good options. A hard or heavy bowl could be dangerous or hinder trapping success.
