SCAM ALERT- BUYERS BEWARE
Please be careful when seeking to purchase a sugar glider or any other animal! I have heard too many bad stories of people being ripped off!
Please do your research first on the seller/ group / page.
*Google their name, phone number
*Spy dialer is a free way to research a phone number, I use it all the time!
*DO NOT ONLY communicate on the group/page/email! Make sure you call and speak on the phone!
*Look them up on FB
*(Very important) really dig into their group page! How long has the group been created? How many members? Read posts carefully, a comment like " I met this guy several times in person before purchasing a sugar glider, he was so nice to drive hours to deliver my baby" should be a RED FLAG
A scammer WILL not keep a group very long because as soon as they scam someone they will delete that page and start a new one.
*PLEASE REALIZE IM NOT ACCUSING ALL THESE GROUPS TO BE SCAMMERS but due to my own personal research TAKE NOTICE to the sugar glider groups using free, rehoming, adoption!
*Sugar gliders do not get vaccinated!
I know when folks find what they are wanting, they want it but I'd be very careful putting up a deposit unless you have done your homework and feel comfortable doing so because that's where you can loose your $$. Take your time to look for a local breeder where you can go see the animal and pay at pick up or pay at delivery. You CAN NOT be scammed that way!
As for me personally I have only excepted one deposit in 20 years and that was a demanding customer 😉.
Word is word to me. If you tell me you want a certain glider, I hold it for you, if something happens that you can't get it I sell to someone else no big deal, it all works out in the wash.

I mention this every year!
Glider owners please beware colder temperatures are on the way, please make sure your gliders have a warm sleeping pouch, maybe even add a small square of fleece in it for a blanky.

Dear glider owners please keep your shuggies warm on these cold nights. Average household temperature is great but their best comfort is a snuggly pouch!

My daughter made and painted these beautiful wood art sugar gliders as a Christmas gift. I will display them better but I just hung them up for this weekend at Canton. Aren't they awesome.
