🔔🎉 He Did It! 🎉🔔

Today was a very special day at Livewell as we celebrated Mikko's final chemotherapy treatment!

After months of bravery, tail wags, and more courage than we can put into words, Mikko officially rang his graduation bell to mark the end of his chemo journey. Of course, no celebration would be complete without a delicious cake made just for him! 🎂

We couldn't be prouder of this sweet boy and are so grateful to his family for trusting us to walk alongside them every step of the way. Moments like these remind us why we do what we do.

Congratulations, Mikko! Here's to ringing in a new chapter filled with happy days, belly rubs, treats, and making lots of wonderful memories.

🐶 Stocking up on at least a week's worth of food and fresh water
💊 Refilling any medications before the rain starts
📋 Keeping vaccination records and important medical information in a waterproof bag (or saved digitally)
🦴 Packing a pet emergency kit with treats, bowls, a leash, carrier, waste bags and a favorite toy or blanket for comfort

Some goodbyes are a little bittersweet.

This month, we're cheering on one of our very own as she begins an exciting new chapter at LSU Veterinary School! 🎉🐾

While we're incredibly proud to see Amber pursue her dream of becoming a Veterinarian, it's hard to imagine our days at Livewell Animal Hospital of Katy without her here every day. Her kindness, dedication, and love for our patients and their families have made a lasting impact on our team. We've been so fortunate to watch her grow, and we know she's going to do amazing things in Veterinary medicine.

The good news? This isn't goodbye forever! We'll still be lucky enough to see her when she's home from school and able to pick up an occasional shift. We can't wait for those visits!

Please join us in wishing her the very best as she starts this exciting journey. We are so proud of you, we'll miss you so much, and we know LSU is gaining someone truly special.
