Big Announcement from Wishes and Wags!

After much thought, I've decided to make an important (and exciting!) change to my training services.

As many of you know, my true passion has always been helping dogs with behavior challenges and helping their humans better understand them.

Starting May 2026, I will no longer offer stand-alone basic dog obedience training. Instead, I will be focusing on dogs with behavior issues and Puppy School (because puppyhood can feel overwhelming!)

Obedience will still be part of the process, but always in support of improving real life behavior and strengthening the relationship between dogs and their humans. This allows me to focus on dogs that need the most help - and that's where my heart truly is.

Thank you all so much for your continued trust and support. I'm excited for this next chapter!

November is National Senior Pet Month! This month brings awareness to senior pets in shelters and rescues. Please, when you have the opportunity, encourage friends, acquaintances, and family to adopt or foster a senior pet and give it the gift of life❤️. I am posting a picture of a senior dog I loved so much. When she was on this side of the rainbow bridge, she brought so much joy to my life. Hug senior dogs this month!

Most of my friends, colleagues, and clients know I have a passion for rescue dogs! The dog in this video always makes me smile when I see her on Facebook. Due to a neurological issue, she cannot run like other dogs - soooo she prances. Sharing a smile!❤️
