Warning! fake frontline sold on eBay linked to feline death.

Cat poisoning in UK has been linked to Counterfeit Frontline spot-on was sold on eBay. The counterfeit product looks very similar to the real product (see below). Unfortunately it contain pirimiphos-methyl, a powerful insecticide that is toxic to cats.

We always recommend prescription flea and tick medications as these products are better regulated and generally more effective. However if deciding to use over the counter flea meds always make sure to buy from reputable sources and closely check labels.

Today was Shelby's surgery day. She's doing well and continuing to gain weight and heal. She will be looking for her forever home in a few months.

We would like to introduce everyone to Shelby. One of our amazing clients saved her from a busy highway. She is with us being treated for intestinal parasites and heartworms but will be looking for a fur-ever home soon. She is a very friendly approximately 5 year old German Shepard Husky mix. She does not appear to be dog reactive. We do not know how she is about cats or children. Please let us know if you are interested in adoption [email protected].
