Dandy, Pistolero and Hondo enjoying their grain. Nutrition is such an important part of making a horse. If they don’t feel good they won’t preform good. We keep a lick tub out and then feed a 12-8 grain while the horses are resting in the pasture. The ones at the yard get free choice wheat hay, some alfalfa and then the same 12-8 grain. We have had a lot of success with our feed programs. What is your favorite feed or hay to use?
