May be looking for a truck bed soon 👀

When caping a deer:

Remember, your taxidermist is an artist but we are NOT magicians! When in doubt- MORE HIDE IS BEST.

Broadhead & bullet holes can be fixed, but please be conscious of where you are making your cuts.

Just a reminder for my Arkansas people entering the early season bow hunt or “velvet weekend”:

Velvet begins to decompose right after the deer is harvested, so it's best to get the antlers to a taxidermist as soon as possible.

Avoid pulling the deer around by the antlers, and keep the velvet out of the sun.

Get the deer in the freezer as soon as possible. You want to keep that head frozen until you get it to your taxidermist to prevent any deterioration.

Do NOT wrap the antlers in plastic!!

Happy hunting 🦌

Hey guys! Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Ashley Rogers and I’m originally from Hammond, Louisiana. I currently live in Oxford, AR and will be practicing taxidermy out of my new shop here on the ranch. I know some of y’all have last years (and maybe even year before lasts) deer in the freezer. Shoot me a message!

I’ll also be giving away a FREE shoulder mount once we hit 1,500 followers. So share with your friends 🦌 🤍
