Thank you for liking and sharing this page! I've added some important info and would love it if you share with your Kohala friends. I will copy it here and there is a post on the page as well.
A warning about feeding cats at Mahukona, Kapaa, and King Kamehameha Parks. We know how much people want to feed the cats they see at the parks, but we implore you not feed them. It actually puts their lives at risk.Over the years of maintaining the feral colonies, we have come to agreements with the Parks Dept tp feed the feral colonies away from public areas and to treat sick cats so the colonies stay healthy. When people come and feed the cats in public areas the park staff can start to respond by eliminating these cats. If you want to help the cats please contact us about volunteering, donating food or to discuss ways that you can support the cats.
Email [email protected] or Call Shanti at 825-4433
Mahalo Nui Loa for your cooperation and we would love and need your help!
