ng a business, they knew what they wanted from Tail Waggin': a warm and stylish shop that offers a well-edited selection reflecting the wants and needs of their customers. In other words, they want pet care to be enjoyable, not a chore. Tail Waggin' continues to grow. We have formed a great working partnership with the Humane Society of Greater KC, regularly hosting adoption events as well the incredibly popular Pictures with Santa. Our spa-like DIY bathing facilities continue to get great reviews. We have one of the largest selections available of locally made treats. And we are one of the few pet-supply stores in KC to also house a veterinary clinic. The Crossroads Veterinary Services, which offers outpatient, wellness and chiropractic services, is an outgrowth of the well-regarded Mission Road Animal Clinic, and is open by appointment only. So please drop in, bring your dog - or cat - and your questions. Leave knowing you're the best pet-parent ever!

Holiday Hours! 🎁❣️

We are open so you can easily come in and get your four-legged best friend everything they need for a memorable holiday. We still have a huge array of treats, toys and Chiefs gear (hmmm, wonder why that’s been so popular this holiday season) for dogs AND cats.

🎅🏼Our hours:
Tuesday, December 24 - 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; closing one hour early
Christmas Day - closed
Thursday, December 26 - 10 a.m.- 6 p.m.
Tuesday, December 31 - 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; closing one hour early
New Years Day - closed
Thursday, January 2 - 10 a.m.- 6 p.m. (return to normal hours)

This last photo session benefits TARA, The Animal Rescue Alliance, a great local animal rescue. TARA is an all-volunteer organization made up of several rescues working together to help animals, including farm animals, throughout the KC region. Their website is TarasDream.org

Photo sessions will be from noon to 3 p.m. on the date listed below. Requested donation is $20 for a printed photo plus a link to all the pix taken of your pet. No appointments or reservations needed and no restrictions - you’re welcome to include all your pets in your picture, or no pets at all.

100 percent of your donation will go to animals in need.

🧤 Saturday, December 21 with TARA, and The Grinch making a guest appearance.

Photos will be taken here at Tail Waggin’, 1818 Wyandotte Street. And yes, we have free and easy parking in the lot just to our north.

Meet Santa AND help animals in need: On this Giving Tuesday, mark your calendars to do something for both you AND animals in need. Plan on coming for Pictures with Santa - he’ll be here at Tail Waggin’ throughout the month of December.

Photo sessions benefit two great local animal rescues - TARA (The Animal Rescue Alliance) and Pet Resource Center of Kansas City.

Photo sessions will be from noon to 3 p.m. on the dates listed below. Requested donation is $20 for a printed photo plus a link to all the pix taken of your pet. No appointments or reservations needed and no restrictions - you’re welcome to include all your pets in your picture, or no pets at all.
