Meeka’s birthday is on Tuesday and she’s no where near the age of 31 but she will be 12 and I’m thankful for everyday I have with her!

Bobi has passed away in Portugal. His family says he was 31.
He grew up in a village home, wandered the yard, napped in the sun, and ate simple, fresh food from the kitchen. A slow life. A gentle one.
When news of his age spread, people all over the world cheered him on. Photos of his gray muzzle and calm eyes felt like a wish we all share.
He was recognized as the world’s oldest dog at the time of his death. Later, Guinness World Records reviewed the evidence and said they did not have enough to keep the title on the books. What never changed is the bond between one family and their good old dog.
Thirty-one years is more than a number. It is thousands of greetings at the door. It is the sound of paws on tile. It is a warm shape sleeping near your feet.
