Missing ingredient is a local hydroponic urban farm that has been serving some of KC’s finest restaurants for many years! It was founded to help provide hyper-local, extremely fresh, nutritious, pesticide and herbicide free produce to Kansas City. We have teamed up to provide our city with the perfect mint chip ice cream. Made from chocolate mint, grown at the farm. This variety of mint has a cool peppermint scent, layered with that warm, salivation-inducing, sweet undertone. The leaves have a dark look compared to the bright leaves of peppermint. This ice cream could not have come out better. The natural green color comes from blanching, blending the chocolate mint directly into the base and then straining it. The dark chocolate flakes are generously scattered throughout. It’s textured, creamy, refreshing and beautiful. The perfect mint chip ice cream.
