Hello KC Cat friends! We wanted to say a thank you and goodbye to Hope, who has spread her wings to work on the Veterinary Information line at Hill's! Hope started here on Oct 22 of 2012! While she's been here, she's been the heart of the clinic, with vast institutional knowledge, cat know-how, and just being so fun to work with ❤️ Besides being our blood draw queen, controlled substances maven, and overall rockstar RVT, she has calmed scared kitties, assisted with surgeries and dentals, and always kept a cool (and stylish!) head during times of emergency. We'll all be keeping in contact with her as she starts her new job, so if you want updates on how she's doing, feel free to ask! We love you so much, Hope, and we miss you already!

We would like to extend a SUPER EXCITED welcome to our newest Veterinarian, Dr Julia Warfield. Dr Warfield come to us by way of Maryland (she did her undergrad in Baltimore), and landed in Columbia, MO to go to vet school. Dr Warfield did her preceptorship here in 2024, and I guess she liked us enough to come back after her graduation in 2025! Dr Warfield loves cats/feline medicine and hopes to get boarded in feline medicine someday. She also loves birds, rats, and horror movies. We are so excited to have her here! You might catch her alongside Dr Gloor or Dr Hodes at your next visit!

Hello all! Mr. Snuffs here - official Communications Coordinator for the KC Cat Clinic. (As you can see I can do this stuff in my sleep!;) We just wanted to let everyone know that the Clinic will be closing one hour early today (6/11/25) at 5 PM, so that the docs and team can attend a continuing education meeting. There are a couple kitties that we may be discharging after that time, but we will otherwise be closed for other services. We will resume our normal business hours starting tomorrow 6/12/25. Hey to our very most cat-savvy friends! We are looking for a forever home for Ted. Here's a little bit about Ted.
(Aka, Toad, Toadster, Tedders, Tedward etc)

Ted is a 1 year old Domestic Shorthair who showed up in the parking lot of KC Cat Clinic several months ago, and liked us enough that he hasn’t left! Ted has been enjoying his time overseeing our toy and treat inventory at the clinic, but he’s looking to settle into a permanent home. Ted has a big heart and even bigger zoomies. If you’re looking for a companion who is always interested in something fun, Ted is all in!
He’s working hard on his manners—like learning when playtime is over and when it’s time to chill—and he’s looking for a patient, cat-savvy adopter who’s up for the challenge of helping a smart, energetic cat feel safe, understood, and totally adored. Ted has shown interest in other cats, but we predict he will need some practice in finding the right way to play with them.
- Ted is an active cat who sometimes displays issues with over-arousal and inappropriate play behavior. An ideal home for Ted is one that can give him the right outlet for his energy, while also helping guide him into calm wind-down periods. Due to his predisposition to rough play, Ted is not advised for potential adopters who may have immuno-deficiencies or clotting issues.
Ted comes with:

- Up to Date Vaccines

Hey KC Cat friends! Today, we are looking for someone to give this sweet kiddo a forever home.

Meet Squeaks! Squeaks is young (2-3 year old) neutered male. One of our awesome clients was doing some TNR (Trap, neuter, return) work and realized that this guy is too friendly to not to be in a loving home! He is a total love bug, and all up to date on vaccines. He spends his time snuggling with people and looking out of the window. He would love a home with someone who can pay him a lot of attention, he's still a young guy with a lot of energy! He was not aggressive with the cats in the home he is staying in, but that hasn't been fully tested. He's a chatty guy, and has a little "squeak" of a meow (hence his name).
