This sweet guy came through our doors as a stray on Friday, August 28, after being found near W 117th St & Lucille St in Overland Park.
Since arriving, Ranger has been incredibly stressed in the shelter. Today, we decided to give him a little break from his kennel and let him spend some time hanging out in our offices.
It helped a little…but this guy is still so, so sad.
At one point, Ranger was sitting in our CEO’s office and just started howling. We obviously can’t know exactly what he’s thinking, but everything about him makes us feel like there is someone out there he is desperately missing.
Please, share Ranger far and wide. Even if you don’t recognize him, someone on your friends list might. Let’s get his face in front of as many people in the Kansas City and Overland Park area as possible and help this boy find his way home.
And while you’re at it, did you know we have a page dedicated specifically to lost and found pets? Give our Humane Society Greater KC - Lost & Found page a follow and share it with your friends. Hopefully you’ll never need it for your own pet, but if that unfortunate day ever comes, you’ll know exactly where to turn.
Let’s find Ranger’s family.
