“Is this normal?”
We hear this every single day — and honestly, we get it. Pets do weird stuff.
Eating grass… zoomies at 10 PM… cats screaming at the void… dogs acting like they’ve never been fed in their entire lives.
Sometimes it’s normal.
Sometimes it’s a sign something’s off.
If their behavior feels new, dramatic, or suspiciously extra, we’re here to help figure out what’s going on.
Call us — we speak fluent pet drama

🐾Did you know? 🐾
Pets are experts at hiding pain and illness. By the time they show obvious signs that something is wrong, they may have been uncomfortable for weeks-- or even months.

That's why routine wellness exams are so important. Regular checkups allow us to catch health concerns early, keep vaccinations up to date, monitor weight, and help your furry family members live longer, healthier lives.

💙When was your pet's last wellness visit?

Share a photo of your pet in the comments-- we'd love to see the adorable faces we're helping keep healthy! 🐶😺

Good Morning!
We had a Good Samaritan stop in this morning with a small-ish dog she found running on her property yesterday. He appears to be a Boston Terrier (mix?), intact male. Found near 99th and Potter. He does not have a microchip. We have attached a photo below. If you recognize this dog, please contact our office to verify some identifying features. If you don’t, can you please share this post to help spread the word?? We would love to be able to help him find his family!

Fireworks are cool…
Your pet’s opinion? Absolutely not. Hard pass. Zero stars.

As we head into the loudest night of the summer, here are the top July 4th dangers for pets — and how to keep your little gremlin safe:

🔥 Fireworks
Big booms = big panic. Pets can bolt, hide, or injure themselves trying to escape the noise.

🍗 BBQ Foods
Bones, onions, corn cobs, fatty meats… basically everything on your grill is a “nope” for pets.

🧨 Firework Debris
Spent fireworks smell fascinating to dogs. They’re also toxic. Classic combo.

🌭 Dropped Snacks
Your dog will absolutely find the one rogue hot dog someone dropped under a lawn chair.

🪓 Crowds & Open Gates
More people = more chances for accidental escapes.

✨ Quick Safety Tips:
• Keep pets indoors in a quiet, secure room
• Turn on TV/music to help drown out fireworks
• Update microchips & ID tags
• Skip table scraps (their stomach will thank you)
• Walk dogs early before the noise starts
• If your pet needs anxiety meds, call us ahead of time

Let’s keep the celebration fun for you — and stress‑free for them.
Your pet doesn’t need fireworks… they are the fireworks.
