We got our first green egg today at 12:20pm, from Lucy. Lucy is a Starlight Green Egger. We got her with our initial flock of chicks just over 22 weeks ago from TSC. We first heard the egg song at 10:15am, checked and there was Lucy, in the nesting box, along with Diana in the coop singing away cheering her on in supreme fashion. After some comforting, petting, and her going back and forth between run and nesting boxes, Diana laying an egg of her own in between, more support from Diana and the rest of the flock, Lucy finally laid her first egg. We are so proud of her, and the rest of the girls for supporting her.
