Welcome Captain!

Captain is a Standard Poodle puppy who is enrolled in our puppy hybrid program!

During our Puppy Hybrid program we start with puppy lessons to build a nice foundation for obedience, some ground rules for manners & a nice relationship bond with puppy! Once he gets a little older, he will participate in our three week board and train to work on accountability and advanced skills!

Captains family has big goals for this guy in helping be a companion and grounding source for their daughter & he is already surpassing all of our expectations!

This is mainly in part to a phenomenal breeder and amazing genetics. He is doing the exact job he was bred for! We cannot praise Kristi enough!

Trixie had her first public park outing today!

This is her entire 15 minute session sped up to fit!

Why only 15 minute sessions? To keep it short, sweet and fun! For her first in public session, I want to make sure she enjoys it and we don’t push past her threshold! We saw and heard lots of people, cars going in and out of the parking lot, and general “public” sounds!

We had no reactions at all and were overall in a very calm and engaged headspace! We have been playing the “place” game and working on some leash skills before even heading out!!!!

A quick 20 minute session with Trixie this morning!

We started with our usual engagement game and then applied it to the place bed! Anything new can be very worrying for Trixie, so we’re working on making changes positive for her and HER choice to engage!

We also started working on some light leash pressure with her! Leash pressure gives her clarity on where I want her to go!
