‼️General Kane is up for adoption‼️ (Please share to spread the word!)
As many of you all know, our hometown of Kane, PA helped trap and rescue a (now) year old pit bull pup in January and we named him ‘General Kane.’ Our town got together to help get him the care he needed- he’s been vetted, dewormed, microchipped, neutered and treated for Lymes and anaplasmosis. He’s been staying with his foster mom getting continued constant training since he was rescued.
General Kane also received professional training with Top Dog Training, LLC in St. Mary’s, PA and he does very well following commands and loose leash walks with use of an ecollar!!
He’s currently living with other animals, including cats and dogs, but in a very controlled environment. At this point, we’re finding he would do best in a home without other pets. We are continuing with the re-homing process.
He also has socialized with kids of various ages, but recommend he goes to a home without children unless they’re older.
General Kane is potty trained, crate trained (loves his crate and bed), and knows many commands, loves long walks and loves to play fetch! He loves one-on-one attention and is very loyal to you once he gets to know you and knows he’s loved. He loves to snuggle and will try to be a lap dog if you let him!!
✅50 lb neutered male pit bull
vaccinated, dewormed, treated for tick borne diseases (Lymes and anaplasmosis) and currently on tick, flea, worm prevention.
✅professionally trained by Top Dog Training, LLC and has 3 additional private lessons with the trainers for the new owners
✅crate and potty trained
✅knows many commands
❌no pets
❌no young children
He has been failed by many humans during his first year of life and needed to be slowly acclimated to society and to re-gain trust from humans again. This took a lot of time and effort. This boy has come a long way, but he will still require extra attention on continued training and socialization skills by his adopted family!!
