Velvet
Here is a genuinely “good boy” best friend energy gelding. Velvet was named for his soft fur as a c**t and now he’s still deciding what color he is going to be. He’s a 4 year old TB gelding JC name Draw That Bridge that started training his 2 year old year and then had some time off. He’s broke in a western and English saddle and has had a real good start after track life. He’s easy to be around, stands tied, stands for the farrier, goes barefoot, not spooky, been ridden around the farm and has had his teeth done as a 3 year old. Velvet bowed a tendon in Sept 2024 and had his tendon injected with 8 months stall rest and then 8 months limited turn out after that. He is believed to be fully healed and shows no signs of pain or re-injury. I just prefer not to start him over on the track at this age. I think he will excel in most disciplines but probably isn’t a high level prospect. He’s soft in the face and broke to leg pressure. He’s only 4 and still has some baby moments but he’s had lots of handling and is willing to please. Asking $2500 buyer welcome to PPE. Located in Kane, IL
