Strategies for Animal Welfare

Strategies for Animal Welfare There's a lot to know about saving animals - using social media, working with volunteers, raising funds and more. Get ready to build your skill bank!

There are many individuals, shelters and rescue groups that dedicate themselves to rescuing and saving animals. This can be emotionally, physically and financially draining work. Sometimes, it takes all of your resources just to make sure everyone is fed and the poop is picked up! In the midst of chaos, it's important to remember that sometimes you have to "slow down to go fast." In other words, t

ake the time to learn some new skills, clarify your vision, create a plan. Maybe you have a page for your shelter or rescue, but you don't seem to be getting much benefit from it. Perhaps you desperately need help, but you don't know how to begin to recruit, train and retain volunteers. How successful are your fundraisers? Do you need some ideas on how to bring in the money you need to save more lives? Do you wince when you look at your website, but have no idea how to fix it? Does your adoption process rule out more potential adopters than it "rules in"? Maybe it's time to look at some new perspectives on who makes a good adopter. There is so much information out there to help us save lives, and so little time to find and absorb all of it! Make this your go-to source for great tips, new ideas, innovative strategies and all-around cool stuff that will help you to save more animal lives.
