I have the world's best helpers!
These two are tireless at measuring out food to soak ahead of time (only a few more days of soft food😅) refilling water jugs and running puppies up and down the hills until they're tired. It takes a village to raise a child and an even bigger village to raise 9 puppies! 🤣

PS If you can't tell from this photo, the pups are getting more confident and curious every day. As soon as the food's gone, they disperse in every directions to find some new curiosity!

Mama love is so important! Look at this snuggle🤍 We never send our pups home early and this is why. Emma and Buddy are so actively involved in the pups day-to-day lives. They are teaching the pups how to communicate, who's in charge and who to follow, how to regulate eating and drinking and even helping us to potty train! We want our pups to learn social skills with people AND animals and the last few weeks is when it all happens. Pick up day will be August 14th, but we're not sad when a few pups stay longer. It's good for the pups and good for Emma, too!

We love "one-on-one dates"! Mr Green💚 got to come inside and play and sniff and eventually he found a cozy cave under the chair for a nice long nap. I love letting the pups experience all the usual household sounds and smells and have a some time alone without siblings. It helps them adjust to their fur-ever families when the time comes... (TWO WEEKS AWAY!! 🎉)

Mr Green is still looking for his fur-ever family. I can't believe he hasn't found a family as clever and adventurous as he is!

📣Attention Please📣

We have two "family announcements" for our Doodle family!

#1 We will not be having a litter in 2026. Emma will be joining the family on a road trip vacation and she would not like to be pregnant for the car ride (yep, she told me 😋) If you are considering one of Buddy's Double Doodles, please plan accordingly for a 2025 pup (in three weeks!!) or a 2027 pup (most likely also a summer litter).

🎊We are keeping a pup from this litter 🎊
Our little Jubilee💜 will be the next Mama here at Buddy's Double Doodles. She will also be "my dog" but our youngest will help take on the care and training responsibilities. She's ready for some responsibility but also the therapeutic connection that comes from having a dog who depends on her for guidance and sustenance 😉 It's going to be a full house over here with three amazing doodles, but we're pretty full already and we're so in love! 😍💜

Our Story

Buddy {the girl} is a 4 year old Labradoodle and the pride of our family. With kids coming and going and friends all around, she brings fun and comfort to each of us in such ridiculous only-dog-people-understand-it ways. She’s friendly and protective and crazy playful. Oh, and she knows how to high-five. That's very important.

She has been bred with a Goldendoodle stud named Tucker and the puppies are here!! Buddy astounds us with her nurture and that incredible instinct to be a mom. She’s blown us away with her ability to “parent.” We know she’ll be sad when they go, but we also know we’ll do this again. It has been too fun not to!
