We bleached the pond last night which is one of our regular monthly pond treatments. This helps us control algae, bacteria, e-coli, etc. Unfortunately, it also sometimes kills tadpoles, mudpuppies, etc. So if you come out to use the pond today, you may see a few dead ones that I missed during my morning clean up. Don’t be alarmed. There is no harm to your pup.

Have a happy 4th of July holiday! The park office will be closed on Friday but the park will be open as usual for park members. Be safe and enjoy your pups! Remember we have the On Golden Pond event on Sunday at 3pm with yappy hour for park members afterwards.
