Kalamazoo Dog Training Club

Our members are dog lovers! We train you to train your dog. See KDTC.org for more information. Most members own at least one dog and many own many!

We offer classes in beginning/advanced obedience, puppy classes, nosework, rally, tricks, and competition level obedience. Our club is dedicated to the training and well-being of dogs; we participate in a wide variety of dog related activities. In addition to offering a wide range of dog training classes, taught by member volunteers, KDTC participates in and supports numerous community organizati

ons, school groups and animal rescue units. We also like having fun together and engage in many social functions throughout the year; some including our dogs. Our members have competed or participated in a wide range of dog sports and activities. One of the most unusual is sled dog racing but we have also raised Leader Dogs for the Blind, earned AKC conformation championships, earned tracking titles in both the US and Canada and participated in school and nursing home visitation. KDTC members have earned agility titles under AKC and UKC rules. Many KDTC members are also active in dog rescue efforts.
