Meet Eden & ET!

These two adorable Lab mix puppies are 3 months old and looking for their forever homes!

Eden is sweet and snuggly, always ready to cuddle up after a play session. ET is curious and playful, full of energy and love. Both are smart, eager to learn, and would make amazing companions for someone ready to give them the love they deserve. They’re working on all the good puppy manners. If you're looking to add some joy (and puppy kisses) to your life, Eden or ET might be your perfect match!

Meet this glamorous group of five fabulous puppy sisters, they are 10 week old pit/lab mix puppies that are full of personality, sass, and heart-melting charm! With big personalities and even bigger cuddles, these girls bring all the fun and flair. Whether they’re playfully “debating” over toys or snuggling up for nap time, they’re always camera-ready and stealing the spotlight.

Each pup is ready to shine in a home of her own! Get ready for some serious puppy love and a whole lot of personality with this all-star crew! $5 Friday: Help Shamrock Heal!

Shamrock was recently neutered, but even with a cone, this determined boy managed to lick his incision site, leading to a painful infection.

In just a few short days, fluid began building up in his groin, leg, and even his chest. It’s been a scary journey, but Shamrock is now on the mend thanks to quick vet care, medication, and a whole lot of love.

However, his road to recovery isn’t over, and neither are the vet bills. We’re hoping to raise $700 to cover the care he’s already received and the continued treatment he still needs.

If you can spare just $5 today, you’ll be helping us give Shamrock the second chance he deserves. Every dollar adds up and makes a difference!

We also can't forget about Donovan and Dalton!

Two 5-month-old labradoodle mixes with hearts as big as their paws! These sweet boys are all about fun, cuddles, and making new friends. They're still growing, and we expect them to reach around 70–90 lbs when full-grown, so they’ll need families ready for big dogs with even bigger love to give.

While we can’t guarantee they’re non-shedding or hypoallergenic, we can say they’re full of charm, playfulness, and that classic labradoodle affection. They’ve been doing great with other dogs and would love a home where they can continue learning, playing, and being part of the family.

Meet Daisy and Dandelion, our sweet and stunning 4-month-old Anatolian Shepherd puppies! These girls are full of curiosity, love, and growing puppy energy. Anatolians are a large guardian breed, and these two are well on their way, when fully grown, they’ll likely weigh between 80-120 lbs. They’re already showing off their gentle personalities and eagerness to learn, and they love playing, exploring, and getting all the attention they can.

Daisy and Dandelion will thrive in homes that understand and appreciate the needs of large-breed dogs, especially ones who can offer plenty of space, structure, and love. If you’re ready for some big-time snuggles and even bigger adventures, these girls might just be your perfect match!

Ransom is a 10-month-old Lab/Shar Pei mix who is all love and sweetness. This handsome boy had been with us since early December and was often overlooked in the shelter, his energy from being cooped up in a kennel didn’t show the full picture. But now that he’s in a loving foster home, we’re finally seeing the real Ransom shine!

His foster says he’s doing phenomenal with her dog and kids (ages 5+), proving he’s more than ready to be someone’s perfect family pup. He’s playful, affectionate, and just wants to be part of the fun. Ransom deserves a forever home where he can keep blossoming!

Since he’s currently in foster care, an approved application is required to schedule a meet. For any dogs in the home, we do require a meet and greet before adoption. Due to his energy level, Ransom may not be the best fit for a home with cats.

✨ Say hello to Marilyn Monroe! ✨

This stunning 1-year-old beauty is just as glamorous and sassy as her namesake. Marilyn loves being the center of attention and will gladly soak up all the love, but she’s also got a dash of cat-itude to keep things fun and fabulous. She's affectionate, full of charm, and totally ready to be the star of your home.

Marilyn isn’t quite available for adoption just yet, but she’s already accepting applications so she can find her perfect match when the time comes. Stay tuned, this diva is just getting started!

Marilyn is not available to meet quite yet, so an approved application will be required to visit with her once she’s ready to greet her adoring fans.

Zeus is a 5-year-old Pomeranian/Pug mix with a heart full of love and a personality to match! He may be a little cautious when meeting new friends, but give him a moment, and he’ll be your buddy for life. Zeus is all about the simple joys, playing with toys, soaking up the sun, cruising in the car, and most importantly, snuggling in bed with you each night (it’s his favorite bedtime routine!).

This little guy is respectful of your space, but don’t be surprised if you wake up to him snoozing happily by your side. He’s a big fan of food, especially cheese, and will make sure you never forget when his dish is empty. Zeus is currently in foster and has done great with other dogs and respectful kiddos, especially the ones who share snacks.

And don’t let his small size fool you, Zeus is on full-time squirrel patrol and takes his job very seriously.

He’ll be at ARP today (4/12) until 4pm, swing by, say hi, and maybe fall in love with your new best friend!

It’s National Pet Day!

There’s nothing like the love of a pet, and today, we’re celebrating every wag, purr, zoomie, and cuddle that makes life so much sweeter.

We especially want to give a shoutout to all our amazing ARP Alumni and the families who gave them a second chance. Seeing them happy in their forever homes is what keeps us going.

We want to share a special thank you to Lola's family for bringing us a cake for her gotcha day on Tuesday! It was amazing seeing her as well!

$5 Friday: Lyme Awareness Month

May is Lyme Disease Awareness Month, and this week we’re shining a light on an important but often overlooked issue, Lyme disease in dogs.

Sweet Ainsley, one of our shelter pups, recently tested positive for Lyme, and unfortunately, she hasn’t been the only one. We’re seeing more cases among the adult dogs coming into our care, and treatment is critical to helping them live healthy, pain-free lives.

Lyme disease is spread through ticks and can lead to serious issues like joint pain, fever, and kidney problems if left untreated. Prevention and early treatment make a world of difference, and that’s where you come in.

Today, we’re hoping to raise $200 to help cover treatment costs for Ainsley and other adult dogs battling this disease. Just $5 from a few generous hearts can go a long way toward giving them the care they need.
