Meet some of our newest arrivals, with even more to come!

These dogs are still new to us, so we’re still learning about their personalities and needs. We’re working on getting their profiles up on our website and Petfinder as soon as possible.

If you’re interested in anyone, the best first step is to fill out an application at animalrescueproject.org. For updates and more information, keep an eye out for their profiles to pop up on Petfinder!

Update: Photos of some of our animals enjoying their foster homes!

Thank you so much to everyone who helped us get every one of our cats and dogs into foster, every single one! 🐾

With the heat wave approaching this weekend and our shelter’s lack of AC, it was in the animals’ best interest to get them all out of the building, which tends to trap even more heat.

Because all of our animals are safe in foster care and due to the extreme heat, we will be closed on Saturday, June 21st (except for any previously scheduled meets with foster pets).

Thank you for your understanding and continued support, we truly appreciate it! 💜

‼️ Urgent Help Needed!!

We will soon be taking in dogs from a large hoarding case, and we desperately need your help to cover their medical needs and get them into shape for the loving homes they deserve. Despite the unimaginable conditions these dogs have lived in, every single one of them is still so sweet and hopeful.

Below are photos of some of the dogs we’ve taken in (and this isn’t even all of them), as well as the heartbreaking situations they’ve lived in their whole lives. We’ve promised to get them out of there and give them a chance at a better life, and we can’t do it without your support.

Please note: None of the dogs pictured are available for adoption or inquiries right now. Our priority is to get them healthy, happy, and comfortable first. Once they’re ready, we’ll make a more official post with updated, hopeful photos and open them up for inquiries.

💙 If you’re able to help with a donation, every dollar goes directly toward their medical care and recovery. Thank you for standing with us and making this rescue possible!

We’re still waiting to see some applications for Kings of Leon! This 4-year-old pit mix might be a bit of a brute, but he’s a very loving brute. He does well with other dogs who can keep up with his play style and would thrive in a home with space to stretch his legs. Apartment life just isn’t his vibe. This boy’s got zoomies to unleash and love to give!

If you're interested in Kings of Leon, please visit animalrescueproject.org to fill out an application or stop by the rescue to complete a paper one and meet him in person. You can also find more information about him on Petfinder.
