Christmas at Furry Friends 🎄🐾
Our dogs and cats enjoyed pup cups, special cat treats, and got to pick out their very own toys because every animal deserves to feel loved while waiting for their forever home.

We hope everyone has a beautiful day of rest with their loved ones both furry and human.

🚨 URGENT 🚨
He was supposed to be shot.
Instead, he’s here…wobbling, trying, loving anyway.

Ranger was supposed to be a hunting dog . His body doesn’t cooperate the way it should. When he walks, it’s like he’s on ice skates, his legs slide out from under him and he falls. When he takes treats, his little head trembles so much that it takes extra time just to grab it. But his spirit? Completely intact. 💔❤️

He is gentle. He is kind. He adores other dogs.
He even curled up and cuddled a shelter puppy the moment he arrived, as if he was the one offering comfort.

Our veterinarian believes this may be encephalitis- possibly triggered by improperly administered vaccines. But belief isn’t enough.

‼️We need an MRI — urgently — to know what we’re dealing with and how to help him.‼️

The cost: $4,500
The stakes: his future.

This puppy doesn’t know he was disposable.
He doesn’t know his body is “wrong.”
He only knows that people are safe, dogs are friends, and love still exists.

As most of you know, our thrift store has been transitioning to a new location (two doors down!)

We are so excited to announce we will now be accepting donations at 615 Indiantown Road from 10am - 5pm

We appreciate all donations! Items that we cannot take will be filtered to our sister charities like Habitat for Humanity and the 100 club. Before stopping by, here are some things to consider…

Items should be:
Clean and odor-free
Free from stains, pet hair, mold, and mildew
Fully functional with no missing parts
Safe, non-recalled, and appropriate for retail sale

Acceptable Items:

Clothing
Shoes
Household goods
Culinary Appliances
Furniture
Books
CDs, DVDs, and collectables

Non-Acceptable Items:

Mattresses, bed frames, and box springs
Entertainment Units
Wall Units and china cabinets
Cribs, car seats, or baby equipment
Hazardous materials
Damaged, broken, incomplete, or excessively worn items and Moldy, pest-damaged, wet, or odorous goods
Medical equipment
Building materials
