Just a heads up on where I’m at for scheduling:

Training: I have 1 open spot for June 1.

Lessons: haul ins only right now. Starting Mid April I will have a lesson horse to use for a select handful of lessons. I am only accepting 3 “regular” clients with the use of my lesson horse.

Bodywork: I can’t accept any new bodywork clients until May. If you have used me before or are an existing client I will work you in for April. If you are a new client and wanting to have me out in May, reach out and let’s get something on the books. I have been certified in equine massage for 10 + years and have now wrapped up my visceral modules at osteopathy school.

55 days!

This is a barrel horse that came in and had a poor understanding of how to correctly carry herself in just her basic flat work. Not only did I change up her feed, but I went back to some basics to get her to use herself more efficiently and correct. That is really showing in both her riding ( she is significantly more relaxed under saddle now) and her body. Something so many people take for granted is a horse that can stand square. One of the things that says to me is how weak a horse is pertaining to their postural muscles. Look at her now! We have things to address yet, but I’m really pleased to see how this mare is shaping up, that her body is developing in the correct ways, and she is carrying a lot less tension as a whole, which also correlates to her being more efficient and relaxed ( aka faster!) around the barrels as well.
