Junction TX Animal Shelter

Junction TX Animal Shelter City of Junction TX Animal Control at the Sam B. Coffey Animal Shelter. Coffey Animal Shelter opened in the fall of '04. For thirty six years, Bro. Bro.

With the help of the Hal and Charlie Peterson Foundation and San Angelo Health Foundation, the Sam B. The shelter was given it's name in memory of "Brother" Sam Coffey. Sam served as the pastor of First Baptist Church of Junction. He not only loved the people of Junction, he loved the animals as well. Sam would take extra food to the old shelter for the animals. In the cold months he would gather

blankets to help keep them warm. The shelter serves as an animal quarantine facility, takes in stray animals and has an adoption program. Unfortunately though, at times unhealthy, aggressive or unwanted animals must be euthanized.
