NCW Chapter of North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association

NCW Chapter of North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association NCW NAVHDA is a group of novice and experienced versatile dog owners, trainers, breeders, and enthusiasts.

NCW NAVHDA members include a mix of experienced and novice dog handlers who train together to develop the best versatile hunting dogs. Some of our members strive for a NAVHDA prize, while other members are simply working towards improving their dogs hunting skills in the field. We welcome members from every interest level and any level of experience. As a club, will help you achieve what you set o

ut to accomplish with your dog. The NCW Chapter encourages all group members to actively participate in the Chapter through group training, mentorship, and participation at our monthly (April through August) training sessions. We also encourage members to volunteer for tasks anywhere from coordinating a lunch at a training day, to working at one of the test events sponsored by our Chapter.

Thank you to everyone who attended our recent Aims and Rules clinic, you are all more knowledgeable chapter members now! Thank you to Brent Catura, Kristin Lardy, Ann Jakel, and Megan Wallendal for running dogs at the clinic. It's not easy to bring a dog you know has holes for clinic attendees to evaluate...thank you. A huge thank you to Roy Ames for leading the clinic, all of the attendees benefited from your wealth of knowledge. Finally, thank you to Jon Yaeger and Chris Trina for all the work required to pull the clinic off.
