HERDING HERDING HERDING ~ We are up to our calves in mud, but the winds are blowing and the arena is drying. For those that want to plan ahead, we will be doing group lessons on Sat/Sun ~ March 24/25 ~ April 14/15 ~ May 19/20 ~ June 16/17 ~ July 14/15. Reservations are being accepted now. Prepaid entries $50 per dog per day, day of entries $60. You can attend one day or both. Group lessons are limited to 8 dogs. Each dog gets 2 runs, sometimes a third, if we cut them short to end of on a fantastic note. Stock are knee knocker goats, fiesty goats, mean geese and light sheep. For prepaid discount, fees are due 30 days before the event. Private lessons are available almost any time. We start by Embracing the Chaos and move on to Learning the Dance. All herding/working breeds welcome. All levels of handlers welcome. Stock rentals available to qualified handlers. Junction City, Ohio

Saturday, October 14, 9 - 4, we will be having group lessons and practice sessions. $50/dog. Broke goats and sane but reasonable sheep. Lessons or practice. RSVP required.

Saturday, June 3, 2017, One day Herding Clinic, one hour SE of Columbus, Ohio, reservation now being taken. $50/dog Aunt Ellen's Farm in Junction City, Ohio. I can guarantee no snow, but I am not sure about no hats.

Duncannon, PA ~ June 24/25, 2017
Clinic on heavy sheep, knee knocker goats and light goats or ducks. $50/dog/day ~ Some lecture, some Q&A. Each dog will work twice. Duncannon is north of Harrisburg. There will also be a CGC tester on site testing for the amazing fee of 20 bucks. And there may be a Trick Tester for the new AKC title. RSVP, please. Fees dues 4 weeks ahead. Refunds only if I fill your spot.

Experienced dogs looking for a challenge? Aunt Ellen's is hosting some super fast Nigerian Dwarfs for the next week. Not handler friendly, not dog suave. Very fast and responsive.
