Introducing Tucker
Tucker and his brother were found 11 years ago at a Manhattan apartment complex, stuck under some cars. Two crazy kids got the kittens out, found a home for one and the other one (Tucker) was taken in by their grandma, Nanny. Tucker and Nanny were inseparable, often napping the afternoon away in Nanny’s chair, sharing a snack at the table or sleeping on her chest at night. In September, Tucker’s mom passed away, leaving Tucker to find a new place to go. A family member stepped up, but they have a cat that isn’t a fan of Tucker, and it has proven to be a toxic situation for all involved, leaving Tucker needing to find another human to love just as much as he loved Nanny.
Things to know about Tucker:
-He is on thyroid medication. A 90-day supply is about $20. Otherwise, he has a clean bill of health.
-Tucker is neutered, front declawed and up to date on all shots.
-He spent a majority of his 11 years as an only cat, and he was content with that. When he went to live with the other family members, he was not the aggressor and got along with all the other cats, the one just did not approve of him being there.
-Spending most of his life with an older lady, he can be a bit skittish, but once he knows you are safe, he will curl up and love you for hours.
-He has never lived with dogs, so honestly no clue how he would adjust to that but would assume if the dog (or other cat) had a calm personality, he would do fine.
-Since he spent his life with an elderly lady, he would probably not love a household with young children, a calm home would suit him best.
If anyone is looking for a loving cuddle buddy Tucker is very capable of that. Please get in touch with us through messenger and we will get you in contact with the owner☺️
