Cats are actually crepuscular, which means they're naturally most active at dawn and dusk. Those early morning zoomies and evening bursts of energy are completely normal. If your cat is keeping you awake at night, try scheduling interactive play sessions before bedtime followed by a small meal. This can help satisfy their hunting instincts and encourage a longer night's sleep.

Your dog’s size and energy output determine how much you should feed them. A pup with normal activity levels should receive “maintenance energy” whereas a lap dog requires just about 10% of that. An active pupper who exercises outdoors regularly would likely need an additional 20-40% than your average dog. Adjusting portion sizes is normal as you learn your dog’s ideal maintenance amount. Keep in mind that the weather can play a role in how much your dog should eat. Be sure to consult with us to develop a feeding schedule that is best for your furry family members! Contact us at (859) 854-5055 for more personalized care.
