So I just want to keep everyone updated on what I have been working on! Life is busy but I have been so blessed to find an amazing horse rescue that Doug and I are volunteering at. Hope's Castaways equine rescue in Eatonton, Georgia is a wonderful place just overflowing with beautiful souls that need homes. I have been creating items to fund raise for them through my craft page "Cowgirls Custom Creations" and we have been going there to do work and spend time with the horses. I will share some of them on here and keep everyone posted as to what is for adoption but please go to their page and group "Hope's Castaways equine rescue". The owner is an amazing lady and can answer any questions you may have. They desperately need sponsors, volunteers, donations, and adopters. I will also be teaching lessons on a limited basis there. They are preparing trail rides as well. Here are a few looking for sponsors and their forever homes.

It was a wonderful weekend with my "team western" girls at Blanche farms! They all did such a great job and the smiles mean so much. I am beyond proud of these cowgirls! They worked hard and it paid off! This was our first farm show and it went very well! Thanks to my boyfriend Doug and my good friend Sunita for their help! It takes a village to put these shows on and their help was greatly appreciated! Congrats girls keep up the hard work it's paying off! 💖🐎

Cuteness overload! Look at that smile after her lesson 😁 Emory Cate is my youngest rider at just 5 years old but she rides that big horse all by herself! We practiced for the show and she is ready! Great job! Shout out to the truly amazing lesson horses that teach so many people so much about riding and life. Thank you Major for taking care of my greenies 💖🦄

So I have been pretty busy but this is little Emory Cate riding Major in only her second lesson! She is adorable and so quick to pick up on everything. She asks questions and should be running professionally any day now! Too cute! I taught 5 lessons in a row this evening after a full day at work but we had a great time! My students are the best! When I asked Emma what was her favorite part of her ride her reply was "the whole thing"! Kendall made my heart smile when she commented " this was the best barn day ever"! The parents of my new sister duo also later messaged me that they loved it so much they will be signing up for the entire month of September! One dad even commented " I see such a difference after just two lessons"! Love what you do and do what you love! I'm completely blessed to teach these amazing students!

Emma and Major had a great lesson tonight! She loved doing the cones and even trotted through them like a pro! Her barrel patterns were very nice and she had some great transitions. I didn't get pics but Emory Cate had a nice lesson too and is trotting around on the lunge line and riding free in only her second lesson! Great job girls! It was a beautiful evening at Blanche farms!

Summer has been excellent to say the least! I have been riding this guy Cherokee that belongs to a great cowgirl friend of mine. We have been having great times riding and we even went on a gorgeous trail ride and took the horses in the river! Swimming on horseback is harder then it looks! So much fun! He's one of the best trail horses I've ever ridden and he went through everything like a rock star even though he had been sitting in the field for a few years. Such a great guy!
