facility is handicap accessible, has ample off-street parking, a kitchen, snack and pop machines, Recovery Library of tapes and books, photocopier, computer and printer, children's play area, extensive outdoor open space, Recovery Book Shoppe, free store, community bulletin boards, free recovery literature, 3 meeting rooms, 1 large central meeting hall with a stage and podium, and 4 restrooms. The

RECOVERY JOURNAL is published free twice annually and distributed to regional meeting places. It lists meeting schedules by town and articles of general interest to people in recovery. Anyone may submit material for publication by sending to our mailing address or to [email protected]

We provide meeting space for AA, NA, Al-Anon, Nar-Anon, Gamblers Anonymous, Overeaters Anonymous, CODA, Ala-Teen and all other 12-step recovery programs. PET POLICY: Service dogs, only, are welcome under the law

30+ meetings take place each week, 3-6 each day, between the hours of 9am-9pm. Starting a new meeting is a simple process, please see Club Manager to register the group name and time(s) or to rent the Club for special events. The Club Manager is on site daily as an independent contractor. The Club is governed by a 10-member volunteer unpaid Board of Directors elected annually by Friends of the Alano Club. The Alano Club has been nominated as a 501(c)3 non profit for a $1,000.00 grant. To vote go to beimdiek.com. If you don't see the link to vote do a search on their site for "community grants". Voting will begin September 18th and runs through midnight on October 15th. The top five charities with the most votes will be awarded $1,000 each. Everyone can vote once per day through the beimdiek.com website or page for the nominated 501(c)3 organizations. Winners will be announced and highlighted later on October 26th, 2017.

Sad news, the club was again broken into Friday night. Fortunately they didn't do too much damage except for kicking in the office door and taking the penny cup. If you have any information regarding this please call Charlie at the club. Thank You.

A wonderful lady passed on today to meet the angels. Dixie Mangum a long time member of the Alano Club passed away a little after 2 pm today.

Please lift up your prayers for Dixie Mangum who is currently a patient at Freeman ICU. She will hopefully be dismissed soon and will go home with Hospice care. This wonderful lady has served the 12 Step Community for many years. We love you Dixie.
