This past week we traveled to Oklahoma City to compete at the American Quarter Horse Association World Show. It was our very first time attending, and we are so grateful for the opportunity! We took a big risk, and that in itself feels like a huge win.

Both of the horses Brett Bentley took to the show pen are ones he’s poured his heart and soul into—horses other trainers had turned away. Brett continues to see their potential and works tirelessly every day to help them prove that they are worth the effort.

We’re incredibly thankful for all of the amazing people who helped us get to this point:

This past week has been a busy and rewarding one for our team! Last weekend we traveled to Sheridan, Arkansas for the Arkansas Quarter Horse Association show. We’ve been attending their shows since spring 2024 and have truly enjoyed being a part of the association. 💛

✨ Team Highlights:

Energizer Dunny (owned by Misty Sanchez ) continued to improve — placing in both VRH Ranch Cutting and VRH Ranch Riding!

Misty also showed her gelding Karat for the first time, earning 🥉3rd in W/T Western Pleasure, 🥉3rd in Horsemanship, and 4️⃣th in a large Ranch Riding class!

Deborah Allen stepped back into the show pen for the first time in over a decade with her 3-year-old and earned 🥈5th in W/T Western Pleasure, 🥈4th in Horsemanship, and 🥈5th in Ranch Riding — way to go!

Brett Bentley placed 🥇1st & 🥈2nd in the Open Cutting, and 🥈2nd & 6️⃣th in the VRH Ranch Cutting.

BrieAnn kept the family tradition going, placing 🥈2nd in the VRH Rookie Youth Cutting and 5️⃣th in the Open VRH Ranch Cutting with Got Me a Shinner!

💔 Unfortunately, we had to leave the show early due to a medical emergency with one of our horses. We are so thankful to the Arkansas Quarter Horse Association members for their kindness and help — it truly meant the world to us.

We can’t wait to return in the spring with our full team and even more horses joining the show string! 🐎✨
