Opportunity Alert!
As our family prepares for my upcoming surgeries, Brett Bentley , our daughter, and the horses could use a little extra help while I'm recovering.
We're looking for 1–2 eager working students to join us at Bentley Performance Horses!
We're a small, family-run operation, that specializes in training cutting horses, c**t starting and Versatility Ranch horses. While there is some manual labor, it isn't overwhelming. We currently have six horses in stalls, and every horse receives daily turnout. The ranch horses enjoy their daily life out in the pasture 24/7. This drastically cuts down on stall cleaning duties!
This opportunity is perfect for a motivated teenager or young adult with above beginner horse experience who is eager to learn but may not have had the financial opportunity to do so. If you know an FFA or 4-H member who fits that description, please send them our way!
You'll gain hands-on experience with every aspect of horse care, including:
• Cleaning stalls
• Feeding and watering
• Daily horse management
In return, we'll teach you as much as we can about our program. From proper saddling and leg wrapping to warming up and loping horses, learning to turn back, and gaining experience around cattle.
If you have your own horse and have always wanted to get started with cattle work, this could be a great fit!
This is an unpaid position in exchange for lessons, cattle work, and the possibility of board for a well-behaved mare or gelding. There is also potential for it to turn into a paid position in the future.

Flexible schedule and hours. Work 1 day a week or 7. The more you work the more riding time you will receive.
