Since launching The Zen Shed in 2021, I’ve provided professional, one-on-one grooming services for both dogs and cats in a calm, low-stress environment. While my business officially began in 2021, my experience in bathing and caring for animals started well before that—giving me a strong foundation in animal handling and comfort. A graduate
of QC Pet Studies, I’m certified in pet grooming and trained in breed-specific grooming techniques, safety protocols, and compassionate care practices. What sets The Zen Shed apart is my dedication to personalized, one-on-one sessions. Each pet is groomed individually—no cages, no crowded spaces—so they receive my full attention from start to finish. This approach is especially beneficial for anxious, senior, or reactive pets who may struggle in traditional grooming environments. I offer a full range of services including baths, nail trims, full grooms, and breed-standard or custom haircuts. I welcome all breeds and all temperaments, and I take pride in working with pets that others may turn away due to behavioral challenges or anxiety. At The Zen Shed, it’s not just about how your pet looks when they leave—it’s about how they feel during and after their grooming experience.
