This weekend, Jasper had the opportunity to help his Grandma Misty in her very first grooming competition — and he was an absolute star!

Being on the grooming table is truly Jasper’s happy place. It brings me so much joy to see him so full of energy and love for everyone he meets. Watching him light up and work alongside Misty made my heart so incredibly happy.

Jasper is one of six Poodles in our home, and while they all share that same love and calmness on the grooming table, it hasn’t happened overnight. It has taken work — hours of patience, training, and trust-building — to get them to this point. No restraints, no stress — just a true bond and a lot of dedication. Grooming has become an experience they genuinely enjoy.

We are always so flattered when people say, “I love Jasper! Can you make my dog look like him?” And while the answer is yes, we absolutely can — the real question is: Will your dog behave like Jasper to achieve that polished look?

Grooming isn’t just about the haircut. It’s a partnership. And a well-trained, well-prepared dog is a huge part of that success. It’s important to remember that grooming isn’t a once-every-few-months event. Jasper is groomed almost weekly to maintain not only his appearance but also his comfort and confidence on the table. Regular grooming, consistent training at home, and a trusting relationship between the dog, the groomer, and the owner all play a vital role in achieving those beautiful results we all love to see.

We are so proud of Misty for stepping into the competition ring for the first time — and so thankful for Jasper, who continues to make us proud every single day!

Lou Lou, the last poodle boy, missed me this weekend while I was gone!! He’s been up my butt since I got home! Apparently Chase just isn’t as cool as me. 🤷🏼‍♀️🩵

Louie Bug is still looking for a forever person! He is NOT going to be Jasper size. Tinkerbell is 38-40lbs and this little dude is looking to be her size as an adult! He’s a dainty little guy who just wants to sit back and watch others while getting to snuggle the human!

He is AKC registered (limited registration), up to date on shots and wormings, microchipped, desensitized to grooming, doing fantastic on potty training, loves his kennel (like his dad 🙄), and expects attention 24/7.

After being Ghosted, this sweet boy is back looking for his forever home!

He is 10 weeks old this week, up to date on shots and wormings, microchipped, and full of sass and energy!

I won’t be able to fit this boy in the light box for much longer!! He’s growing BIG and FAST! 🩵

Today shattered my heart.

We said goodbye to Batman — the dog who helped raise us, who waited at the bus stop, who guarded the house, who loved us harder than anything else in the world.
He didn’t need a cape to be a superhero. He was just Batman — our Batman.
He was our protector, our best friend, our family.
He loved fiercely. He loved Aurora. He loved us. He lived to be by our sides.

We used to joke and call him “Fatman” when he got a little too spoiled (which, if you knew us, was basically all the time).
Over the last year, we had him on a strict diet to help him lose weight — and it seemed like it was working…
But the truth was, something much crueler was happening behind the scenes.
Cancer was stealing him from us. Tumors took over his stomach, his intestines, his whole body before we even realized what was happening.
This past week, everything changed so fast. He wasn’t the same. He was tired. He hurt.
And today, we made the decision no one ever wants to make — the one you make when you love them too much to let them keep hurting.

There’s no way to explain how broken my heart feels right now.

Batman was around 14 years old — we never knew his exact birthday — but he packed more life and love into his years than most ever do.

I also feel like I have to say this:
Cancer in dogs is real, it’s cruel, and it can move faster than you can even comprehend.
Certain breeds, like Poodles (who are now such a huge part of my life), are prone to different types of cancer, and it terrifies me.
I hope and pray I never have to walk this road again with my poodles.
Please — love your dogs deeply. Get them checked. Trust your gut when something feels off.
Sometimes cancer hides. Sometimes it wins.
But love wins too — because Batman knew he was loved every second of his life.

Today, we lost a piece of our family.
And the world feels a lot emptier without him in it.

I love you forever, Batman.
Thank you for loving us right back — every minute of every day.

Almost a year ago, Tinkerbell almost had a home.

She had decided that Tink, then known as Caramel, just wasn’t what she was wanting. Which was totally valid! I had fallen in love with her so I was more than happy.

Multiple times she would see Tink growing up and would say things like “I should have snatched her up!” (And I’m so thankful she didn’t!)

Today, she reserved and is taking my Eddie Bear!

Eddie has everything Jasper. His build, his love, his demeanor. But also has everything Tinkerbell. Her personality, her colors, her mischievousness.

He is by far my favorite pup from this litter. I have said for a long time that if he never found the perfect home I was fine with him staying forever. I am going to miss him SO much but I know he is going to be SO LOVED by Sarah and her family!!

Everything happens for a reason! I couldn’t think of a more perfect home for this little guy!! 🩵

It’s all fun and games until you have two poodle boys obsessed with being with you.

One (Lou) just wants snuggles and the other (Eddie) thinks you’re his personal jungle gym. 😂
