She is still having some contractions, so the puppies are safely tucked away in the basket with a heating pad, but Hailey keeps a close eye on them. Love this girl❤️.

To the women who built their lives around walks, routines, medicine times, muddy paws, bedtime cuddles, and a life of picking dog hair out of their mouth while having a conversation.
The ones who loved with their whole hearts and were loved just as deeply in return.

Being a dog mum is still motherhood.
It is nurturing, protecting, sacrificing, comforting, worrying, and loving someone more than yourself.

The sixth generation out of Headwater’s Retrievers and Golden Beekeepers. Ginger’s baby girl, Tulip 💜 just delivered eight beautiful puppies. We couldn’t be happier for everyone. Good job, Ted, Lauren and Tulip!

We are celebrating the birthdays of two litters today!

First is Hailey-Townley litter of 2016! Happy 10th birthday to Star and Boomer and their littermates, Joey, Bella and Ajax. We love you all! Happy Heavenly birthday to Carl, Duncan and Luna. We will see you at the rainbow 🌈 bridge.

And Happy 3rd Birthday to Ginger- Jack puppies Tulip, Ziggy, Dexter, Carmen, Sookie, Hamilton, Rosie and Fiona. We are wishing the best of luck to Tulip, who is about to have her own first litter! Exciting times. We love you all 💖

4,681 days, and it still wasn’t enough.

Our sweet Thunder’s Hail Storm, “Hailey” has gained her wings and joined the angels in Heaven, just shy of her 13th birthday. She was still a strong, eager girl up until the end, but an inoperable cancerous growth in her mouth defeated her. We love you and miss you already, but we know that you were joyously greeted by your parents Thunder and Stormie, and best friend and brother Hunter. You were the first baby girl born in our breeding program, and proved yourself to be one of the sweetest girls ever.

Please pray for her baby girl Star, as she grieves the loss of her mother. They were inseparable.
