Well what started out as a young man wanting a duck dog to hunt with to running hunt test and getting ribbons for his dog. This little journey started over a year ago when Noah Leach contacted me about a female pup named Juice I had and he purchased and we have gotten to become great friends together and training together with several guys close to us and we all are having a great time. Just like everything else training a duck dog takes time and don’t happen over night and Juice put some doubts in Noah’s mind (lol) and others didn’t think she could do it but I’ve told Noah from the beginning “IT’s NOT A RACE ITS A MARATHON”.
I got her back in August from him to work with her to try and get her season title that he thought may not happen but the light switch turned on and Ole Juice figured it out we hit her HR title about 2 weeks ago and this weekend we slipped off to Lake Charles HRC hunt test and Juice picked up her first finished pass and a pretty ribbon the smile on his face when he got her HR in first pic wasn’t nothing compared to this weekend when she passed her first finished pass . I’m so blessed to have been there to run Juice and get her pass for him and see how excited Noah was I will never forget that smile and how happy he was.
This was one of many road trips me and him will have together chasing ribbons with our dogs , we will be chasing one of those big green ribbons
