At Living Treasures you are invited to touch and experience many up-close interactions with our incredible animals. Visit us to enjoy the unique LT Experience. We have 2 great parks in Western PA. The Moraine location is located in New Castle, PA, just 4 miles west of I-79. The Laurel Highlands park is located in Jones Mills, PA, just 2 miles from the Donegal Turnpike Exit. The parks are situated

in a peaceful wooded setting that provides an abundance of shade for animals and visitors alike. With over 400 animals of 70 different species, we provide a unique interactive experience that allows visitors to get closer to the animals than ever before. When you visit Living Treasures in the Laurel Highlands, there's LOTS to see & do! Feed the baby animals at our special bottle feeding yard. (Bottles available for purchase at the concession stands next to the bottle yard.). We also have a wheelchair accessible playground, some old fashioned kids rides & photo boards located throughout the park. Get your photo taken at our Photo Booth, too!

Our Story

Living Treasures is a family owned and operated wild animal park that offers an up close, interactive, and educational experience with our family of animals. There are two parks located in the peaceful and wooden settings of Western PA, one in Jones Mills and one in Moraine. Living Treasures Wild Animal Park’s Moraine location was built and opened in 1992 by Tom Guiher and his two young children, Fawn (age 9) and Adam (age 6).

In 1988, Tom acquired and started propagating 35 species of exotic animals including camels, wallabies, African antelope, and pot-bellied pigs. Building an animal park to show off his collection to the public seemed the logical next step.

To this day, Tom and his family have created 2 beautiful parks with over 400 animals of 70 different species. The parks provide a unique interactive experience that allows visitors to get closer to the animals than ever before. “Our commitment to our animals is only matched by our commitment to creating a safe, healthy, and fun environment for our guests.”
