It’s our most popular edition of the year and once again, we want to hear from you about what makes Johnstown (and the surrounding communities) so great! We have even added a few new categories thanks to your suggestions.

This year, we are doing all the nominations online to make it a lot easier and we have even more categories than ever so there’s sure to be a spot to write in your favorites!

We are closing voting TOMORROW Monday, April 7 this year so we can send photographers out to capture beautiful images of all your favorites!

The results will be announced in our printed June edition and announced at a "Best of" Awards dinner at the Willow that will include the top three finalists in each category as our invited guests of honor.

So be sure to vote TODAY!

As the winter months roll in, I'd like to offer any of my active clients a peculiar gift! If you've got chicken coops or small livestock enclosures, I'd like to gift you a trash bag full of the dirtiest smelliest dog hair I can find! From a variety of wonderful donors! 😉💕 While this may sound odd hear me out! Take nylons, old stockings or pantyhoes put on some rubber gloves and fill them up! Hang them around any place you'd like to deter predators. Coyotes, opposums, owls, hawks, raccoons etc all get desperate come winter time when the food sources are scarce and tend to pay our pens a visit. That's never good, so hang your stockings and let them smell ALL your 20+ guard dogs 😉 don't worry Santa loves all puppies you won't steer him away! 🎅 As a bonus come spring when you til up the garden throw in your nylons or just fur if you aren't lazy and til it right in! The hair breaks and down into lots and lots of nutrients for your plants, helps them produce more and continues to deter pest like deer, raccoons, moles and groundhogs with the doggy scents! I can't produce an unlimited supply so I will do one trash bag per family and it's first come first serve til the frost breaks! 💕

One of my customers lost their dog while being kenneled on Somerset Pike. If anyone sees him please call 814-244-4044. His name is Frederick and he is chipped. Help bring him home, he's a sweet boy. There is a reward offered.
