Ellie’s Playhouse has been so fortunate to have such a dedicated community of people that see and appreciate our superior level of care and consideration for their pet families ❤️🐾

If you have reached out recently and not recieved a response, we deeply apologize. Being a husband and wife solo operation, instances of “life happening” significantly affect our ability to stay in business.

We have been dealing with significant medical issues with many visits to specialists for diagnostic testing. In light of still searching for answers to explain Marissa’s decrease in a major organ’s function as well as recurring miscarriages, we are taking a step back from the business until we have more answers on what is causing these significant issues.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and relentless support. We love our community and can’t wait to return to operating at full capacity again ❤️

Sweet Nuka went from scraggle pup to cutie pup in no time flat! Big thanks to her mama for letting us snuggle this adorable girl ❤️ it’s so rewarding to see puppy confidence ramp up when they’re feeling fancy 💅🏼

Tick season is alive and well! 🐞 We found this critter taking a stroll on one of our pup’s toys after they came in from some outside adventures 🐶

Be sure to keep up on your flea and tick preventatives and stay well-educated on the risks 🤨 The lovely vets at Boyd Lake Veterinary Center were very upfront and honest with us about our preventative options and truthfully told which major brands that have been shown to trigger epileptic episodes in dogs with a genetic predisposition for seizures. When Scout had a seizure at two years old, we were prepared, stayed calm, and got him in for a check up to confirm he is just fine. For our family, the risk of an occasional minor seizure greatly outweighs the long-term diseases that can potentially be transmitted by ticks during our frequent outdoor adventures 🐞

Every family is different and it’s important to be prepared for whatever may come your way 🙌🏼

Paw grooming sessions are just $15 per pet! 🤑 We can get those grinch feet looking nice and get a good nail trim in while we’re at it 🐾

Benefits of regular paw maintenance:

✔️ Spot injuries and irritations before they
progress (ex. foxtails, abscesses, broken
and detached nails)
✔️ Restore natural paw positioning to
alleviate joint stress
✔️ Increase paw pad traction to avoid slip
and fall injuries
✔️ Less debris brought in at potty breaks
