We love that some families who have welcomed our kittens into their home, live nearby and often frequent our raw pet food store “Natural Carnivore”.

Here is Margo (formerly Pigeon) with her new family and we just can’t believe how much she’s grown already from the tiny little kitten she started off as! ❤️😻🐾

She’s such a beautiful and loving sweetheart and we’re so happy we get to watch her grow and that she’s thriving in her forever home!

PLEASE NOTE... If anyone sends us an email or message that simply reads something like "How much are your kittens and we want one"... we will most likely ignore and delete it.

Please understand we do not sell a kitten to just anyone offering money. We need to qualify families as much as they need to qualify us or any breeder they work with. In our opinion, if a breeder is willing to sell or ship a kitten to anyone, anywhere, just because they offer to pay, and especially without qualifying each other, then for us those factors create serious red flags.

A Statement from Bella Maine C***s: When Doing the Right Thing Draws the Wrong Attention

Over the past week, we’ve become the target of several misleading one-star reviews. These claims stem from a former customer (assisted by several of her friends) who failed to follow our guidance during the kitten’s acclimation period, resulting in significant weight loss. Out of concern, we invited her to return the kitten into our care and provided a full refund as a professional courtesy.

We later made the decision not to return him, prioritizing his well-being above convenience or feelings. While this wasn’t the outcome she wanted, it was the right one for the animal. Since then, she has orchestrated a campaign to discredit our reputation—recruiting friends to post false reviews and even creating a Reddit thread to further spread misinformation.

To those reading these attacks, we urge you to look deeper. This isn’t a reflection of poor ethics—it’s retaliation for choosing animal welfare over ego.

We’ve documented every step of this situation: emails, health updates, and signed agreements. Should there be genuine interest in understanding what truly occurred, these records will be made available on our website—not to provoke drama, but to uphold the transparency we've built our program on. We don’t ask people to take our word for it. We offer facts and let others decide.

It is also very likely some of these reviews and comments have been made by friends of a local breeder, whom we used to work with raising litters, in order to destroy our credibility. Regardless, we are being attacked at several angles.

As outspoken advocates for ethical breeding, we regularly speak out against kitten mills, profit-driven operations, and dishonest practices. Unfortunately, that makes us a threat to those who profit from confusion or secrecy.

We know this kind of harassment is why so many legitimate breeders struggle to remain visible. One person’s damaged ego—or another breeder’s jealousy—can send a flood of falsehoods that bury truth and integrity beneath manufactured outrage.
