Time is going to FAST!
We went to a show on 9th in Brodhead. It was a different experience with having no stalls and tying to a fence. 😅
We made it thru with no casualties 🙂

After a long hot day and some good laughs we had a pretty good show day!

Kylynn and Bizmark have been working hard together. She just started showmanship this year and finally came out with a 5th place out of 17! The rest of the day she placed in her riding classes with mostly 2nd placings.

Emma and Cola had a good day as well. Emma came out swinging with a FIRST place in showmanship! Out of 17! Super excited about that one 🙂 the rest of the day she had good rides placing consistently.
She ended the day with TINY TOT RESERVE HIGH POINT 🥈 🏆

Team Hartie had another amazing day. These two are really starting to click and work together. The beginning of the day started slow but she started rocking it in the riding classes! Even tho the kid hates patterns she had some awesome patterns that day. She also whooped my butt in the ba****ck place but i was just happy i stayed on 😂
She came home with JUNIOR HIGH POINT! Another buckle! 🏆 🥇

Thankful for the parents as always, wouldnt be possible without you guys!
Roxanne thank you for all the help and getting the entries in. Jess thank you for getting us more water and holding horses when needed 🙂

Fair is over and Lilly had a fantastic day Thursday at fair. We made up for last year! 😆
she ended up with 4 grands!!!! She had her best rides in English that day and that was a win in my book. Hard work definitely paid off.

We ended up 5 grand & Reserve in:

🥇walk trot western pleasure
🥇walk trot western horsemanship
🥈 western showmanship

🐴 Fair week🎡
Lilly’s starting off strong with a 1st blue in western showmanship and came out of Grand & Reserve with Reserve Champion! 🥇 🥈

English showmanship (first time showing) and in hand trail ended with a second.🥈 🥈

Great way to start the fair, riding classes tomrrow! Nice job team Lizzy (Lilly & Izzy) 🙂

Recap from Saturday! We now have two girls qualified for the world show! It was a journey but we did it 🙌🏻 congratulations Emma & Harper 🎉

🐴 Emma is working hard on her western and getting one handed figured out. “Less is more” is very hard to understand but it is starting to click 🙃 her determination is paying off. She even attempted her first in Hand trail class, we had one wrong direction on an obstacle but she did great at remembering everything I told her. Her English rides were one for the books; Probably her best ride yet in her English pleasure class!

🏆 Harper was able to show Artimus at this show finally and it was awesome. All the work putting into makin sure hes sound is paying off for the Both of them. Even tho she hates patterns shes doing a great job at them. Harper was finally able to run her first trail class with Artie as well and made it look easy. Like they’ve done It before. She ended the day overall Jr Jr Highpoint!

💥Kylynn was only able to show in the morning but she practiced super hard to do halter and showmanship. She pulled off a 4th in halter and no placings in showmanship. She even went in another showmanship class with no hesitation and practice. Her and Bizmark work so well together. He just loves her.

⭐️ last but not least, my little rider Letty and “my horsey” Bizmark did leadline for the first time. We didnt get distracted by any birds 😅 and pulled off a 5th out of 11. She did great for her first time and with alllllll the distractions. She wouldn’t give me her squish mellow tho 😔😂

It was great show and thankful for the crew we have. Also a big Thank you to Roxanne for being the secretary/runner, it’s very helpful when your with us 💙

Yesterday Harper and I took adventure to Manitowoc to the Branch River Riders Club. We needed two more shows to qualify Artie for the NOSHA World Show and we did just that and more!
This team rocked it yesterday and brought home all around 13& under! She even beat me in some classes which I thought it was the coolest thing ever 🙂 they both come so far!
We both had a great time yesterday! The show was put on very well and the people were super nice!

The Blue Thunder Crew has a great day today! So many wins!!! 🥹

3 girls came home with a buckle today!

Emma rocked her showmanship pattern and her western walk trot rides today thats dhes been working very hard on. She even placed 3rd in her Halter class 🙂 she was anounced the All Around Tiny Tot winner! 🏆

Lilly had to use our trusty steed Biz today cuz Izzy made other plans. She did great with not even working with him before. She got 1st in gelding halter and Reserve in G&R!! She went in showmanship and had a great pattern except a little mishap with the inspection but still pulled off a 4th! She then went into her two riding classes and pulled off wins in both of those! These two ended the day as our Jr Jr W/T Reserve All Aroundd winner!! 🏅 what a way to spend your birthday! 🎂 🙂

Harper and Artie (Hardy/Hartie) 😅 started the day with a second in halter and had a clean sweep the rest of the day! Harper’s been putting in the work and it’s showing. Hartie was our grand champion JR JR grand champion! 🥇

Janelle and Maple had an awesome day as well! She was grand champion halter horse!!
Janelle had a great showmanship pattern and even better rides. Winning the horsemanship and a 2nd in w/t pleasure!!! I can’t wait to see how well they will do at the next show! 💙

Yesterday was a longggggg day! But Harper and Emma had an awesome day!!

Emma placed in halter and got a first in showmanship!!! It was great way to start the day. She had beautiful rides and finished the day strong. Tiny Tot Champion by 1 point!!! 🏆 🌟

Harper had amazing day showing her OWN horse, Artie 💙. We’ve put in alot of hard work to get him there and it definitely paid off. She didn’t pull off high point but she was 3 points away! We’re all super proud of her and Artie. 🥹

Other than being sunburnt and over tired we had a great day! Thanks for all the help Roxanne Sukow and Amy! Happy to have such a great group. 🙂

Show Update 💙

We attended the Oregon show Saturday, and I am delighted to report that the kids did great!

This week was a rough one but we still showed up and conquered. I couldn’t be more proud.

Emma and Cola had a great show and finally had great rides in ALL her classes. It was awesome to see it all come together. Emma winning the tiny tot english pleasure was one of the best parts of the day! All
3 of us were ecstatic!

Harper has been thru a lot lately. Her horse, Artie has had other plans lately when we plan on going to a show. This time we planned accordingly and practiced with my horse Bizmark. She’s becoming a great rider and I’m proud to be able to call her one of my kids.

Last Saturday we went to Oregon for an open show! All the kids worked hard and had some great rides. Every show is a learning experience and makes us work harder for the next show.

These two have worked hard together. She comes out and shows up to work! Within the last couple weeks she learned how to ride English and learned the joy of learning how to pick up the diagonals. She came to show to win and she did just that!

I’m thankful for these group of kids and the work they put in. We have a great little crew and we work so well together. With that being said, Harper came to the show for support and was a great helping hand! We can’t forget about the parents, if it wasn’t for them none of it would be possible.

Lilly pulling off a first blue in showmanship today on the first day of fair!! Went back in grand and reserve being the youngest in the class, forgot to back but she had a good pattern going otherwise. Not bad for learning it in 5 mins 😊
