Hi friends! We're excited to be back at the JonesboroughFarmersMarket tomorrow after a little break and a baking field trip to the PNW. Zane took a great class, we ate a baguette a day for 7 days straight. It was all much needed.

It's been 80° degrees since what feels like March, but Summer is really here. With that comes a whole bunch of fun new produce, like:

• TOMATOES (!!!)
• Mini Eggplant
• Pickling Cukes
• Banana Peppers
• "Hatch" Style Green Chiles
• Collard Greens 
• Red Swiss Chard 
• Herbs: Parsley, Basil, Bronze Fennel
• Dilly Beans + Our very last jar of Pickled Golden Beets

We'll even have a couple cute little herb + flower bouquets for the first 3 people to want one.

Come visit, rain or shine, 8 am - noon. Hope to see you there!

Field of (Bean) Dreams 🌱

Utopian Seed Project Promiscuous Peas Trial Crop 2.0 showing off.

A second season growing Carolina Red Limas from some special seeds shared by Foothill Frolic when we first moved to Tennessee.

An army of 666 Pinto beans and Yellow Eye Beans we planted in response to RFK's War on Legumes.

These are all such a pleasure to learn how to grow. They take up half the yard and bring a nice set it and forget it energy, which as curious, newish growers constantly biting off more than we can chew for the sake of learning, is a welcome change of pace.

When we're inevitably overwhelmed by dry beans later in the season, we hope these beans present themselves as an opportunity to invite you to come hang out, shell dry beans, and share some food and drinks as a thank you for your time kinda situation.

Until then, long live legumes.

Garlic day 🧄

The telltale sign that it's truly summer and the reminder that we should have planned something to go into this bed next months ago. This seasons move fast. What can you do?

But pausing to watch the garlic harvest slowly sway in the breeze of a fan under the carport, hung on nails we assume Rain Crow Farm left here for just this type of moment is a special highlight we look forward to all year long.

Berry season is upon us. 🙏🏼 They may be a mess of fenceline blackberries we draped netting over to save some from the birds, but we're thrilled to have 'em here.

• *NEW* Baby Carrots (new, and also, last week. we had to clear the carrot beds this week to make room to plant southern peas)

• Dino Kale

• *NEW* Pickled Golden Beets

Hi folks! We're bringing back a limited number of farm "boxes" this week for Thursday pickup. Box is still in quotes, so bring a bag, or a cooler, or a box.

Our non-committal take on a CSA gives you 5-6 items (a $20 value) from our market lineup.

This week, you might see: sweet peas, carrots, dino kale, collards, baby bok choy, chard, broccolini, garlic scapes, arugula, or dill.

Hey all! We're excited to be back at the tomorrow.

It's a similar lineup to what we brought last week, while we begin to bid farewell to a few spring things in anticipation of 'mater season.

This week, we'll have:
• Mini Pointed Cabbage (new to the lineup) 
• Radishes (last week, RIP)
• Sweet Peas (still , and as a result, so are we)
• Broccolini (begining to think these plants will maybe live forever?)
