What sets West’s Woofs and Wags apart from the other local pet sitters? We work remote and stay at your house and spend a lot of time with your pets. How/why is that beneficial for you and your pets? Below are some recent reasons why:

1. We recently spent time with a pup who at dinner was fine but by morning had a severe limp. We were able to know exactly when the limp began and that he hadn’t done anything strenuous and send videos to the owner who was quickly able to determine that it was because he needed his toe nails cut and already had an appointment scheduled.
2. I was checking on some baby chicks under heat lamps. One of them in a freak accident got her foot caught on the metal hanger that had their water and was hanging upside down. I freed her but her foot was wonky and I contacted the owner and was able to get ahold of a chicken specialist who came and prepared me for the worst and took the chicken home. Just received an update yesterday she made it, is thriving and back with her other chick friends
3. We were recently with an older gal who randomly started peeing on the bed and I noticed other changes in behavior and with the owner’s permission took her into the vet and she had a UTI.

If we were pet sitters that only performed drop-ins hor stayed for bedtime there’s a possibility that some of the above items would have been missed.

When I say we care for your animals as our own I mean it. Every single one of us on the team fall in love and get attached to your animals. When one of them cross over the rainbow bridge we cry and hurt with you.
