The Prefurred Pack is spreading holiday cheer (and full bellies!) to our local shelter pets — but we need your help!
Join our Purrfect Howl-iday Showdown by donating dog or cat food and casting your vote for your favorite festive team.
🐾 Pick your side:
•🎅 Team Dog — Santa Paws and his reindogs! 🐕
•🎄 Team Cat — Santa Claws and his cozy crew! 🐱
At the end of the drive, each person from the winning team will be entered into a drawing for a $100 Prefurred Pack Gift Card!

🎀 Ways to Enter
🎅 Leave donations for us to pick up during your scheduled visits — just be sure to let us know they’re donations so we don’t accidentally take Fido’s food! 🐾
🎁 Bring donations to our scheduled drop-off events (dates and locations coming soon!).
💵 To donate monetarily- Leave cash or check donations for us to collect during a visit, or message us through Time to Pet and we’ll send a donation invoice for your chosen amount.
🐕‍🦺 Don’t forget to tell us if you’re Team Santa Paws 🐶 or Team Santa Claws 🐱 so we can count your points correctly!
💚 And be sure to share the contest so friends, family, and fellow animal lovers can join in the fun and help us fill more bowls this Christmas!

Hey Pack!

We’re thrilled to introduce the newest member of The Prefurred Pack family, Garrett! He brings a wealth of animal experience and joins us from the California Department of Fish and Wildlife. Up until now, our pack of sitters has consisted entirely of female sitters, so we’re extra excited to welcome our first guy to the team!

Garrett grew up on a farm surrounded by animals of all kinds, from dogs and cats to exotics. He’s skilled, calm, and incredibly dedicated to every critter he cares for whether it has fur, feathers, or scales. He also has a confident and happy energy that we believe will go beautifully with the animals we care for each day. When he’s not out caring for pets, you’ll likely find him paddle boarding with his dogs or exploring the outdoors.

We know some of our clients have mentioned that their pets may not do well with male sitters. If that’s the case for your furry family member, please send us a quick message so we can make a note on your account. That said, we truly encourage you to give Garrett a chance. He has a phenomenal way with animals, and we have complete confidence in his abilities.

Here’s a little note from Garrett himself:

I personally have 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 2 horses as current pets, but I’ve cared for a large range of critters both big and small. I’ve lived a ranch/country lifestyle my whole life. I am the type of guy who typically prefers the company of his furry companions even over his human friends. I am so excited to spread the love past my own pets and care for other people’s pets the way they deserve and the way our clients expect.”

A story in four parts courtesy of our sitter, Eden

1. A criminal and his crime. Suspect then proceeded to grab the towel I was cleaning up with and run through the dog door with it as well as get manic zoomies through the water puddle, leaving wet paw prints throughout the kitchen.

2. Rosie and Bonnie took vigilante justice upon themselves and apprehended the criminal.

3. His sentence was 10 minutes in jail. He remained in good spirits throughout.

4. A free man! He remains on house arrest though.
