We are looking to bring on another part time pet sitter, or two! Open availability preferred but flexible on that.

The followings are a must:
*Excellent with animals
*Respectful and responsive to clients.
*Strong communication skills.
*Reliable vehicle and phone service.
*Availibility to housesit.
*Consistent availability.
*Comfortable giving medications
*Ability to assess and handle animal behavior.
*Problem solving skills

**Strong preference to those with horse and farm animal experience.

Starting pay is $14/hr for the first 90 days.

Don’t forget—with these hot temps, our team is adjusting visits as needed to keep pets safe from the heat and paw burns. That means shorter walks, shady yard play, and indoor enrichment when necessary—but don’t worry, your pups are still getting ALL the love, fun, and care they deserve! 💛

I’m thrilled to share some joyful news with you—our family welcomed a beautiful baby boy, John Wyatt, on May 27th! He’s healthy, snuggly, and perfect in every way. 💙

As I’ve taken some time to recover and adjust to life with a newborn, I wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your continued support and trust in The Prefurred Pack.

While I’ve stepped back a bit during this special time, our amazing team has been keeping everything running smoothly. Lila and Aaliyah have been rotating managerial duties and doing a phenomenal job supporting both our clients and sitters. I’m still very much present—quietly monitoring schedules, checking in daily, and staying connected behind the scenes.

I’m so proud of our team and incredibly grateful to each of you for your understanding, patience, and loyalty. Your continued business means the world to me, especially during this big life transition.

Thank you again for being part of our Pack—it’s truly an honor to care for your beloved pets. I look forward to being more hands-on again soon, but in the meantime, you’re in the most capable hands.

Today’s is brought to you by Rito, the crested gecko! Did you know that geckos' sticky pads aren’t actually sticky? They are made up of millions of microscopic hairs called setae. These setae interact with different surfaces, allowing them to climb and stick to many surfaces!

Hi Pack!

I hope you’re all doing well! I wanted to take a moment to update you on a few temporary changes within The Prefurred Pack team.

Beginning this Wednesday, Sarah will be on medical leave. She’ll be focusing on recovery for the next few weeks and will return to admin work as she’s able. After that, she’ll gradually resume light-duty visits before getting back to her usual schedule.

As for me, I’m getting close to my due date, and while I’m still handling a few light visits as I’m able, my ability is becoming quite limited. Once my son is born, I’ll be stepping away from visits completely for several weeks to focus on family and will only be handling admin work during that time.

Please know that admin duties are still being monitored, and we’re doing our best to stay on top of messages and scheduling. If we miss anything please do not hesitate to check back in with us. We truly appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate this special season of transition and change.

Happy !! Today’s fact is brought to you by our four-legged equine friends!

Horses come in all shapes, sizes, and colors, but their first known ancestors were only approximately the size of Labrador retrievers! Could you imagine seeing dog-sized horses running around?

Horses were domesticated about 6,000 years ago and have since been bred for looks, athleticism, and personality, which is what we’re used to seeing today!
