🐶 Position: Pet & Farm Care Specialist
📍 Location: Tri-Cities, TN area

What You’ll Be Doing:
• In-home pet sitting and dog walking
• Farm visits and animal care
• Following detailed care instructions
• Sending fun, thorough visit reports with photos
• Being a calm, reliable presence for pets and their humans

What We’re Looking For:
• Strong reliability and time management
• Love for ALL animals (bonus if you love farm animals too!)
• Ability to follow instructions closely
• Comfortable working independently
• A charged phone, reliable vehicle, and readiness for anything from zoomies to muddy boots

What You’ll Get:
• $15/hr starting pay

Hi Pack!

I wanted to take a moment to share an update with you regarding our pricing.

At The Prefurred Pack, we’ve always worked hard to keep our services both high-quality and accessible. It’s important to me that we remain a reliable, consistent, and professional team you can count on while still being mindful of affordability for our clients.

That said, we have not adjusted our rates in over a year and a half. During that time, we’ve continued to invest in our team through ongoing training, expanded support, and maintaining the systems that allow us to provide the level of care you’ve come to expect. Along with that, general business costs have increased across the board.

In order to continue providing dependable, top-tier care, we will be implementing a pricing adjustment.

Here’s what that looks like:

• All currently booked vacation services will remain at your existing rates
• Any new vacation bookings moving forward will be scheduled at the updated rates, effective immediately
• Weekly recurring services will transition to the new rates starting May 1

All new rates are attached to this email. For any clarification on your individual home pricing, please reach out.

Additionally, while we always aim to keep pricing as stable as possible, if fuel costs continue to rise significantly, we may need to implement a small fuel surcharge in the future to help offset travel expenses.

We truly value the trust you place in us to care for your pets and your home. Being invited into your space and trusted with your animals is something we never take lightly, and we are incredibly grateful for each and every one of you.

We will continue offering our referral perk: when you refer a new who books services with us, you’ll receive one free visit added to your account. It’s our way of showing appreciation for helping us grow our pack with other amazing pet families like you. 🐾

We realized we made a mistake in our team album and want to fix that while also sharing some exciting introductions.

First, a big shoutout to Krista, who somehow wasn’t previously included. Krista has actually been a wonderful member of The Prefurred Pack team for about a year and a half now, and we are so grateful for the care, reliability, and heart she brings to every visit. We appreciate you so much, Krista!

We would also love to officially introduce some of our newest Pack members: Reagan, Jamieson, and Kim. We are thrilled to welcome them to the team. Each of them brings their own unique skill sets, experience, and passion for animal care, which only makes our Pack stronger. From hands-on animal experience to incredible attention to detail and a genuine love for pets, we’re so excited for our clients and their animals to get to know them.

Our Pack continues to grow, and we feel incredibly fortunate to have such a talented, compassionate group of people caring for your pets. We will also be expanding our team again very soon, so stay tuned for even more introductions.

Rain or shine, we still show up (even if Isla is personally offended by the weather). 😉

Our hearts are full after our second Pack Walk! 💕🐾

This Valentine’s weekend, we felt the love big time. We got to welcome new sweethearts Tilly, Annabelle, and Bentley into the Pack — and of course our loyal loves Dixon, Clementine, Hudson, Tug, Creed, and Riggs showed up ready to strut their stuff.

Consider this your official love note: Pack Walks happen on the second Saturday of every month, with rotating parks to keep things fresh and fun.

We can’t wait to fall in love with even more new faces next time. 🐶💘
