✨Medical protection✨ for 🦮Dogs & Cats🐈

🩷Bella is a 12 pound 🐶15-year-old Shorkie🩷. She is deaf and completely blind having lost her sight a few years ago due to cataracts. In the last 18 months she has had two eye injuries caused by walking into obstacles while outside.

✅Both injuries required a trip to the veterinarian, medication and a cone during healing. While our home has been set up to manage potentially dangerous obstacles it was becoming increasingly difficult to manage her outside as she still enjoyed using her nose to explore her surroundings.

✅While searching for goggles, which I was skeptical about actually staying on her head, I came across the OptiVizor. With help from the staff at Protective Pet Solutions I ordered both the short, new style visor and the regular snout visor in the toy size. It took several days of trying on the vizors, making adjustments and emailing photos to staff to get the best fit.

✅I originally thought the short snout would be the better fit, but Bella wasn’t comfortable laying down due to the broader fit across the brow and wasn’t able to use her nose for exploring as she wanted.

✅After adding the foam spacer to keep the visor from slipping down and trimming the vizor Bella was able to sniff, lay down comfortably and was able to jump up on the sofa unlike when she was wearing a cone.

✅The vizor has given our family more comfort when she is outside now knowing that she can safely explore her surroundings and have more freedom with a longer leash. As Bella’s world has changed significantly in her later years, providing a better quality of life for her is important to us. We are very pleased with the OptiVizor. Thank you! Erika

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Toy Short Snout OptiVizor ❗️

Functional and protective! My Pekingese lost his vision through trauma from a dog attack to the head, ended up with an eye ulcer running into something. After trying several cones and goggles, which were just not practical, the visor was recommended by a fellow Pekingese owner in a Facebook group.

🐴This is such a great mask! My POA is👀 photosensitive and needs extra eye protection. This mask doesn’t rub on his eyes at all because of the reinforced brow piece. He wears it 24/7 and I rarely find that he’s pulled it off because of the throat latch piece. Marta
