Our Story

Protective Pet Solutions was founded due to my beloved mare Dawnica going 100% blind from ERU - Equine Recurrent Uveitis (AKA Moon Blindness). Due to her new vision loss, she was bumping into stall doors, fencing, etc. causing head and facial wounds. When unable to find a suitable product in the US that would keep her injury free and safe, I set out on a mission to search the globe for superior protection gear that would help ensure she could safely navigate her new world with out sight.

As a result, the Equivizor Equine products as well as the OptiVizor and Novaguard Canine products were found and we began to import them to the United States in order to help others like the Recovery Vizor had helped our sweet horse.

We are passionate about sharing these Innovative and Revolutionary product with other pet owners as we know just how amazing and life transforming they can be in the lives or our beloved Dogs and Horses. Dawnica, happy to say has done amazingly well in transitioning into blindness with the help of these products! She and I are back in the saddle again together on the trails and riding in parades. So thankful that we were able to find a fantastic Solution to our situation and look forward to helping you do the same!
