For those who may not know, I had a right total shoulder replacement on January 16th and am currently in rehab at NHC. I want to thank Dr. Larry Waldrop and P.A. Stacy Melvin, Appalachian Orthopedics, for their skill and God given talent in their ability to do my shoulder. I have had no pain since surgery. Dr. Waldrop has done both shoulders and I have no pain in either one.
Hopefully, I will be able to go home by Mid-February. The 20%-50% sale will be continued until the weather is no longer 'ALPACA WEATHER".
Thank you to all of you who have called, come by to see me and/or sent cards. I appreciate your thoughtfulness. I will let you know when I am home.

I am having my right shoulder worked on and will be out of commission for 3-4 months. Since I live alone. I have to be able to function on my own, I will need to stay in a rehab facility . Most likely it will be NHC So this winter don't forget me and come see me or send me a card.

We’ve Moved and the Store is Ready For Your Business!!!!

2018, has been a long, hard year for us as we have seen our old farm house standing in shambles after we moved out in May. People came in after we moved and took everything and anything of value from the kitchen cabinets to the retro green and pink tile in the upstairs bathroom. Driving by now, the old house looks so sad. Truly, we are hoping how soon, it will be torn down.

We are in our new house and love it. It is so easy for me to get around and though its ’half the square footage, it is so nice. The front porch (patterned after the farmhouse’ front porch) is one of our favorite places. We have fabulous views from the front and back of the house and the morning sun comes up at the back where our screened in back porch is and sets in the front where have seen some of the most beautiful sunsets.

We have been working to get the Farm Store in shape. The room is smaller, which has made it challenging. Ed has been terrific in creating a wonderful, workable space. The farm-store as it is still going to be known, has gone through some changes too. We now will have to collect Tennessee Sales Tax, because we are no longer a”farm store” and are not exempt.

We will officially open the Friday (November 23rd) after Thanksgiving - known as Black Friday. We will open our normal hours from 10:00AM - 6:00PM. We will be open Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Other days by appointment.
