Gobbler's Knob Poultry Farm Brown eggs, organically fed frozen roasting and frying chickens, jelly, pickles and vegetables in season They take dust baths and are happy hens.

We are a small poultry farm located 1/2 hour north of Lake George. We sell chemical free (We can't call it, "Organic" because we refuse to pay the Government $500.00 per year for the privilege of using the term.) Our hens are raised free-range, are allowed to be outside, eating grass, bugs and other good things. Our meat birds are raised the same way. No cruelty here! You can taste it in our eggs

and meat! We also make jam and jelly the old fashioned way. In season you can find us in the woods gathering wild raspberries, blackberries and apples. We sell chemical free produce, too! Come on up and watch our chickens foraging naturally. They like to have their picture taken!

We still have some frozen soup chickens. Keep one in the freezer in case someone you love gets sick and needs chicken soup or bone broth. They are $5.00 each. We also have farm raised roasters and fryers. They are $4.00 per pound and come in various weights.

Here we grow again! We just purchased a chicken plucker! This way we can keep up with the demand for our delicious roasters and fryers. We will now also offer some turkeys in the fall. Chicken plucking is a nasty, dirty and wet job and now the job is done in less than a minute!

One of our roasters makes many meals. First night a roast chicken dinner. Second day, made 4 chicken sandwiches. Third day made 10 chicken enchiladas. 4th day made a pot of chicken soup and canned it. All this from one of our 5 1/2 lb roasters.

We have eggs at the stand! We also have frozen chicken raised right here! They are $5.00 lb and are in assorted sizes. We have, "oven stuffer roasters", and frying chickens. We also have soup/stewing frozen fowl at $5.00 each. Come to the house for the frozen chicken.

To the older couple from New Jersey in the black SUV who ripped us off yesterday: Yes, we saw you steal from us. Try doing that at Stewarts or Tops and see how far you get. Do not return to our egg stand. We wonder if you got a cheap thrill from stealing from farmers trying to offer fresh eggs to customers. Scum like you will be the reason we either have to raise our prices or close the stand. Again, we saw you steal.
